Responsibilities
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain computer servers and networks
- Ensure smooth operation of our IT infrastructure (on premise and cloud)
- Participate in software architecture process
- Participate in integration/deployment process with front-end and back-end developers
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain array of our application servers
- Create new server instances and integrate them into overall architecture
- Manage network setup – firewalls, vpn, LAN
- Maintain backups servers and local data
- Update or upgrade servers
- DevOps:
- Develop and maintain deployment solutions,
- Maintain existing deployments
- Perform application updates and supporting software on servers
- working with a great multi-talented team that is delivering our solution
What we use
- SysAdmin: Linux, Cloud and on-premise servers, Azure
- Other: Odoo, Python, Java, SQLAlchemy, Web back end, FlaskJavaScript, html design, Vue, Git, AWS, Azure, Docker…
Qualifications
- Excellent command/knowledge of Linux, scripting, system automating, cloud based systems
- system programming is an asset as well as knowledge of windows and osx
- 5+ years of experience
- software development lifecycle
